We are based in Hillsboro, Oregon with facilities in both Northern and Southern California; Chicago, Illinois; Raleigh, North Carolina and most recently in Hartford, Connecticut. We are on the hunt for a Senior Accountant to provide direct support in the execution of day-to-day finance and accounting procedures for the company. Reporting to our Controller in office in Hillsboro, and a member of the accounting staff, they will be responsible for working on month-end close, account reconciliations, general journal entries for such areas as accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, inventory, fixed assets, leases, accrued expenses, notes payable and deferred revenue.
Some nuts and bolts about the job:
Assist with all day-to-day accounting functions including financial reporting, month-end close and general ledger maintenance
Assist the Controller with the preparation of internal/external financial reports and external audits and reviews
Review and post transactions and journal entries
Balance sheet reconciliation, P&L analysis, general ledger and financial statement prep
Provide assistance to accounting staff in A/P and A/R cycles
Maintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation & amortization schedules
Monitor and record monthly lease accounting under ASC 842
Ad-hoc reporting for operational and finance requests
Assist Accounting Manager, Controller and CFO

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
CPA highly preferred
Strong GAAP knowledge and problem-solving skills
3 years of experience in national or regional accounting firm and/or corporate accounting level at a mid/large size private company
Proficient in Microsoft Excel— extremely large and complex Excel files are the norm. Must have extremely strong ability to write and decipher complex excel formulas
Experience as a power user in current, relevant accounting software, preference to SAP
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail and accuracy
Must work well under pressure in a deadline driven culture
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, procedures in the exhibit fabrication/trade show industry a plus
